Barton Lee Hazlewood (geboren
am 9. Juli 1929) ist ein US-amerikanischer Musikproduzent,
Songwriter und Sänger.
International bekannt wurde Lee Hazlewood in den
1960er Jahren durch seine Zusammenarbeit mit Nancy
Sinatra, für die er zahlreiche 'maßgeschneiderte'
Songs verfasste und teilweise auch zusammen mit
ihr interpretierte, die bekanntesten sind These
Boots Are Made For Walkin’, Lady Bird, Sand und
Summerwine.

However, his own output has also achieved a cult
status in the underground rock scene, with songs
covered by artists such as Lydia Lunch, Primal
Scream, Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave
and Boyd Rice.
